I have this same brand of Equipment. On the Hitch just in front of the Ball there is a Gold colored Metal thumb wheel. What is this for? How do you adjust it?

If you are having an issue with trailer sway, you can also try shifting weight within the trailer to the tongue. If there is too much tongue weight, the trailer may bounce, but too much axle weight will cause the trailer to sway. Bouncing is much less dangerous than sway, and if your trailer is heavy enough, it shouldn't bounce at all.

so for my understandanding a weight distribution hitch lowers the tongueweight due to distributing the weight back on the axles of the trailer. correct? so if i tow a horsetrailer and i calculate 20% tongueweight i can then lower to 16% due to distribution?

Camping world is made up of several departments that do not communicate with each other. Sales department will tell you that the warranty department will handle any problems. The warranty department will say that the sales department had no right to tell you what they will handle or to speak for them. Heard this from a guy from work who sued and finally got their camper fixed after two years of fighting with them. Could not use the camper in all that time but had to pay the monthly note. He got rid of his camper and said he doesn’t trust the industry.

These work for the bobber?

I walked into my local Harley dealership here in central Florida, Walked past every bike they had in their show room twice and never had anyone from the dealership even ask if there was something they could show me, This dealership is 20 minutes from where I live, I drove 60 miles to the next harley dealership in my area and the minute I walked in there were salesmen pushing me to take test rides on bikes, I went there to have tires put on the bike I had at the time! My point is there doesn't seem to be a happy medium at these shops, What ever happened to the days when you walked into a shop and you were greeted and ask if there was anything they could help you with? Without the high pressure sales tactics or tottally ignoring you when you walk in. And as far as trying to customize any bike these days forget it, Harley Davidson does not produce enough parts to be able to put anything as far as customizing parts on the showroom floor for sale, Everything is on back order, When it comes to customizing a bike you own your only option now a days seems to be Amazon or Ebay This I believe is the reason that they have stopped producing the sportsters, Because of the aftermarket support that they have, It seems that if you are able to buy aftermarket parts for an older bike they will take a hit on sales for new bikes! And we all know it's about their bottom line! They all welcome you in as family as you purchase a new bike but once you walk out the door with that new bike you become just another A-hole with a potential trade in!

This has a floating neutral correct? If yes, do you feel confident using it as a stand alone power source to run drills and other tools? Or do you use a neutral grounding plug?

The handle should be completely tight until the threads bottom out always. You don't use that handle to adjust the tension you use the bolt below it to adjust tension

As a knife maker the term "soft steel" goes away once the heat treatment takes the blade to an hrc of 58 or higher. I would rather have 1066 with great heat treatment than a powdered supersteel with a lousy heat treatment any day of the week. Also, you can pull the scales, degrease the steel and leave it in white vinegar overnight. This helps with rust prevention and allows the rust preventative oil to adhere to the steel better. While doing this, take the scales and leave them in boiled linseed oil overnight. Wipe them dry and let the oil cure under the hot sun or a heat lamp for a day or so and reassemble.

Ive used ugly stiks for muskie, pike, walleye, perch, smallmouth, largemouth, bullhead, crappie, bluegill and never had an issue. I tried the graphite rods and they all broke. In my opinion ugly stik is where its at, unless you are a pro angler and sponsored you do not need anything else

As of today (June 19/2024) on Amazon Canada the Condor Bushlore is $150.00 and the BPS B1 is $45.00. The differences between the two are not worth $105.00. Condor used to be reasonable with their pricing but they have more than doubled since I bought my first one a few years ago. BPS all the way.

I have both. Condor knives are one of best knives made and can’t be beat for the money. BPS aren’t near as tough, they also rust faster. I also like that Condor is made in El Salvador which is doing a lot of great things right now. And a big F U to Ukrainian and there money laundering communist BS operations!

YES, camping world SUCKS! Took unit there for warranty floor work at the end of a season. Went to pick it up, the floor looked good, came home, and put it away for the winner. NOW, remember I took it in for FLOOR WORK. When I got it out the next season. I noticed the trim and ceiling panel above the door was falling down, I was able to fix that somewhat. Then the crank handle for the tv antenna fell off. Something didn't look right there either, but I got it back on. Then I was on the roof to clean it and notice a bunch of new sealant, caulking. Then it all came together. Some DUMBA$$ either grabbed the wrong camper, or somehow somebody did damage it, and they had to make repairs. I went back to the dealer about what I had found. The manager was arrogant conceited DICK and didn't give a crap. Then, during the 2020 presidential election, the head owner of cw said, If you voted for a certain presidential candidate, don't ever shop here. WEll 🖕🖕, I never will!
